Dwayne Bravo Joins KKR As Mentor

The West Indian all-rounder has recently announced his retirement from all forms of Cricket

Dwayne Bravo has joined the Kolkata Knight Riders as a mentor after retiring from all forms of the game recently. Bravo has replaced Gautam Gambhir, with whom the Kolkata Knight Riders won the championship in the IPL earlier this year.

Bravo, had earlier served the Chennai Super Kings in the capacity of a bowling coach. Bravo has also stated that he will be mentoring the other franchises of the Knight Riders family in the CPL ILT20 & MLC.

Bravo is elated after Joining KKR

"I'm very happy and excited at the same place to be joining the Knight Riders family, I've been with the Trinbago Knight Riders for over a decade leading and also nurturing the talent. I'm looking forward to working with the owners and players in the coming seasons of IPL". Bravo quipped

Bravo has played a total of 582 T20I games where he picked up 631 wickets, he has won two T20 World Cups with West Indies. He has the highest number of championship titles.

KKR CEO Venky Mysore was very excited and pumped up to welcome Bravo at Knight Riders.

"I'm very excited and pumped to welcome Bravo in our setup, he's a guy who has won many titles and has led a lot of teams in the past, his experience will add value to our setup, we are also happy that Bravo will be looking after our other franchises too". Mysore concluded.
