South Africa’s Premier T20 franchise competition, SA20 2024 is all set to start tomorrow in Durban.

SA20 2024 SA20 is back with six of South Africa's best franchises looking to win the coveted T20 title. South Africa's first cricket league begins tomorrow. Six teams will participate in the tournament, just like last season. These are Pretoria Capitals, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Cape Town Michigan, Pearl Royals, Joeburn Super Kings, and Durban Super Giants.

All these games are sister companies of Indian Premier League (IPL) teams. This adds to the excitement of the tournament for all the Indian fans who closely follow the IPL.

SA20 2024: Dates and Format

This year's SA20 is scheduled to start on January 10th. In the opening game, Sunrisers Eastern Cape will take on Johannesburg Super Kings. Each team will play against five other teams twice (home and away). Just like last year, the top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament follows a knockout pattern similar to the IPL. The Playoff rounds begin on February 6, 2024. The final will take place on February 10th, exactly one month after the start of the tournament.
