The Football world is still discussing the 2024 controversial Ballon'd'Or ceremony that saw Man City's Rodri winning the most prestigious award in the history of Football over Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr.
Now, the two will once again battle for another individual prize at the FIFA The Best Football Awards in January. Unlike the Ballon d'Or awards, the winners of the FIFA The Best Football Awards are decided by fans, current captains coaches of national teams, and media representatives. Previous winners include Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Bonmatí, and Alexia Putellas.
Leo Messi who won this ward last year too has also been nominated among the younger lot that already features Mbappe, Carjawal, Vinicius Jr.
