The India and Pakistan match on Sunday was just a trailer for the cricketing World, this game has already heated the race for the T20 World Cup. However, the two Cricket giants are expected to be meeting sooner rather than later, this time in Pakistan. The Champions Trophy for 2025 is scheduled to be hosted in Pakistan.
The Marquee clash of the tournament India-Pakistan is set to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The eight-team tournament is scheduled to be played at two more venues apart from Gaddafi - Rawalpindi and Karachi, which the stakeholders found to be the perfect locations.

India will reportedly be playing their all-league games at Lahore, Meanwhile, none of the semi-finals or finals will be played at Lahore. However, if India qualifies for the knockouts then they will be playing at their allocated Venue.
As has been the case in recent years too, the Men In Blue haven't played in Pakistan in the last 16 years, the last game they played on Pakistani soil was way back in 2008.
Due to security reasons and political tensions between India and Pakistan, the men in Blue have avoided playing in Pakistan.
Last Year too when the Asia Cup was scheduled to be hosted in Pakistan, the Indian Government didn't allow the Indian team to play in Pakistan.
A hybrid model was then used which ensured that India played their games in Sri Lanka.
As of today neither the PCB nor the ICC have talked about the hybrid model, but if it happens then UAE will be the likely venue for the Indian team for Champions Trophy 2025.
