The Indian Premier League (IPL) has been one of the best and longest-running T20 leagues since its inaugural season. The IPL Orange Cap is presented to the highest run-scorer in an IPL season. In these 18 years, we've seen different and sometimes the same players win the Orange Cap.

In the inaugural season, an unknown commodity till then, Shaun Marsh took the Orange cap, scoring 616 runs in 11 matches, representing the Punjab Kings.
