Kolkata Knight Riders' match against Lucknow Super Giants at Eden Gardens, originally scheduled for April 6, has been shifted to April 8 at the Eden Gardens, the BCCI announced in a release.

The decision comes after the Police personnel & cricket association of Bengal requested the BCCI reschedule this game owing to the shortage of personnel who would be deployed across the city for security owing to Ram Navmi festivities.
"The authorities requested a change in schedule citing the Ram Navmi festival, the game has been moved to Tuesday, April 8 at 3:30 Pm (IST), the rest of the schedule remains unchanged," stated the release.
The KKR vs LSG game on April 6 was supposed to be an afternoon game on a double-header Sunday. But now, only the Sunrisers Hyderabad-Gujarat Titans clash in Hyderabad will be played on Sunday (as per the scheduled time at 7:30 PM).
Meanwhile, Tuesday will be a double header with the KKR-LSG game to be played in the afternoon (3:30 PM) in Kolkata, followed by Punjab Kings' match against Chennai Super Kings in Chandigarh at 7:30 PM.
