IPL broadcaster Star Sports has denied airing an audio clip of any conversation that involves Rohit Sharma, The Indian Skipper earlier had accused the channel and broadcasters of breaching his privacy despite making many requests to not record his audio, but the audio got recorded and spread like wildfire.
A video was posted by the Kolkata Knight Riders featuring Rohit Sharma and assistant coach Abhishek Nayar on May 11 where Rohit was heard discussing his future at MI with the assistant coach of KKR.
As mentioned above a video was released by the official Instagram handle of KKR featuring this small episode it soon went viral, the video too got deleted but the damage was already done.
In another game against Lucknow Supergiants, Rohit Sharma was seen chatting with fast bowler Dhawal Kulkarni, as was the norm the cameras turned onto him once again. This time though Rohit requested to not record the audio. After the previous conversation went viral Rohit took no time to take action.
The Indian Skipper on Sunday accused the channel for airing a private conversation, but the channel in their defense has denied the accusation.
The Clip that showed Rohit Sharma featuring and requesting the makers to not record the audio of his conversation was captured by the Star Sports Coverage Team who were just covering the pre-match practice sessions and lacked any editorial reference beyond this, The Channel Stated

In the end the channel released a statement stating that protecting the privacy of the players and their families is their main agenda.
