Team India had a three-hour net session in New York's Nassau County area on Wednesday autumn, marking their first formal and full-fledged practice since arriving in the megacity on May 26.
Before this, the platoon had a brief handling and exertion session on Tuesday evening. All players, except Virat Kohli, attended the session on Wednesday autumn. Kohli is anticipated to arrive a little later.
The net session took place at Cantiague Park, located over five long hauls down from the Nassau County Stadium, where the platoon will play three games in the Twenty20 World Cup, as well as a warm-up game against Bangladesh on June 1.

Cantiague Park is the sanctioned training venue assigned for Team India with facilities of six drop-in practice pitches.
The Indian platoon had access to three pitches, with two being used for the batters. The third pitch was kept reserved for the bowlers. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill demurred off the fur nets, followed by the rest of the players in the order of their fur.
Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja were among those who maundered. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Rinku Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal were advised to take it easy for the day, as they had only joined the platoon on Tuesday after a long flight.
All four players marked their presence at the venue. They will share in the coming net session listed for Friday.
Despite rain in some corridors of the neighboring areas of New York, the rainfall on the ground was extremely justice-friendly.
With affable conditions and a day temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius, the session progressed easily.
The Indian platoon is staying in Long Island rather than Manhattan to avoid long trip times and business tailbacks.

The Indian Team hasn't tasted success since the Champions Trophy win in 2013. Post that win the men in blue have reached finals and semi-finals of many tournaments but haven't managed to go through the full journey.
The Indian team will look to end the T20 World Cup drought which has extended to 16 years, having won the inaugural title in 2007, since then the men in blue have played finals only once in 2014.
In their previous T20 World Cup India lost in the semi-finals to England by a 10-Wicket margin.
