1. Harbhajan Singh

Veteran Off Spinner Harbhajan Singh is a renowned figure in the Cricket globe, however the Munda from Punjab also decided to have a go at Acting, he is one of those players who is also married to Bollywood Actress Geeta Basra.

he made many appearances in movies including in the same scene as 'Kapil' in 'Mujse Shadi Karogi', and in Punjabi films too such as 'Bhaji in Problem' and 'Second Hand Husband'. He got the lead role in 2021 when he acted in a Tamil Movie called 'Friendship' which was directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya.

2. Kapil Dev

The 1983 World Cup-winning captain has also acted in movies, he acted in 'Chain Kuli ki Main Kuli' directed by Karanjeet Saluja, the film was a hit among the kids of the 90s and early 2000s. He portrayed it himself and Signed lead actor Karan's bat.

In 1999 Dev was invited as a guest in a friendly Cricket match between India and Pakistan. 3. Yuvraj Singh

Apart from achieving laurels in the field, Yuvraj Singh has also nailed it in the acting circuit, Yuvraj has acted in the film twice. Once as an 11-year-old in 'Mehndi Shagna Di'. The Sixer Kings also worked in a Punjabi Movie called' Putt Sardaaran De'.

In the scene, Yuvraj wants to go to school to play Kabaddi, but his mother doesn't allow him to go as she feels sports is useless he should instead seek revenge for his brother's death.

4. Irfan Pathan

Irfan Pathan, one of the best All-Rounders from the previous lot of Indians Cricketers, hit the ball for a six in the field of acting too. He acted in a film called 'Cobra' in 2022, where his role was of an Interpol Agent. The film was directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. The film and Irfan himself received a positive response from the fans on social media.

5. Sunil Gavaskar

The most popular of the cricketers playing a role in a movie, Indian Batting legend Sunil Gavaskar acted in a Marathi Movie in 1980 with the name of 'Savli Premachi' the film didn't receive a great response.

Gavaskar made another cameo in a Naseeruddin Shah starrer 'Malamaal', Gavaskar himself played this character. In the movie Gavaskar Beats Naseeruddin Shah's character Rajkumar in a friendly Cricket Match.
