The first ten matches of IPL have attracted 35 crore viewers, more than any earlier editions of the league, including seasons played during the COVID-19 pandemic, as stated by the official broadcaster on Thursday. According to BARC data given by Disney Star, the aggregate viewing time for the tournament has risen to 8028 crore minutes, a 20% increase over the previous year.
We are overwhelmed with the record-breaking viewing figures for TATA IPL 2024. Disney Star has started the 17th season from where it left off last year, doubling down on fan-centered initiatives that seek to drive passion and fandom for the tournament.

Disney Star is broadcasting the IPL in 14 languages, including a special feed in Indian Sign Language for Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Visually Impaired viewers.
The tournament began with record viewership, with 16.8 crore tuned in to witness the season's first game between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 22.
According to Disney Star, the first day of the season had a record-breaking 1276 crore minutes in viewing time. The watch-time minutes are the total of the time spent by each spectator watching the game.
