The Bangladesh women's cricket team has added 15-year-old bowler Habiba Islam Pinky to their T20I squad for the upcoming series against India.
Pinky, who demonstrated her skills in U19 cricket earlier this year during a tri-series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, will have the opportunity to make her name in the international arena when Bangladesh faces India in a five-match T20I series.
Nigar Sultana Joty will lead the team, with Nahida Akter fulfilling her role as vice-captain This will be India's second trip to Bangladesh in two years, with the 'Women in Blue' hoping to gain momentum ahead of the T20 World Cup, which will be held in Bangladesh from September to October.
India which now ranks third in the women's T20I rankings will play Bangladesh, who ranks ninth, in a series that promises entertaining cricket action. The first match is planned for April 28, followed by games on April 30, May 2, May 6, and May 24.
