On Wednesday, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) stated that they are in regular touch with the Pakistan Cricket Board to ensure the player safety of the Bangladesh players involved in the Pakistan Super League (PSL)

Wrist spinner Rishad Hossain ( Lahore Qalandars) & Nahid Rana (Peshawar Zalmi) are the two Bangladeshi players who are involved in the ongoing season of PSL.

"The Bangladesh Cricket Board is in regular touch with the PCB & the Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad to ensure the safety of our players," the board stated in a release.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board is also keeping a close eye on their upcoming tour of Pakistan, where the Bangladesh cricket team is set to play 5 T20Is starting from 25th May. The BCB President, Faruque Ahmed, stated that they have not decided anything as of now & are keeping a close eye on the situation in Pakistan.

"We are working closely on the situation (Bangladesh vs Pakistan 5-match series), but that can be kept at hold for 3-4 days, the main thing is the safety of our two players Rishad Hossain & Nahid Rana who are currently participating in the PSL ."

The Bangladesh team is scheduled to tour Pakistan for a five-match T20I series that begins May 25 at Faisalabad, The venue will host the second T20I too on May 27th before the two teams move to Lahore to play the remaining 3 matches on May 30, 1st & 3rd June respectively.
