Bengaluru & Delhi Are Set to Host TATA WPL 2024

Delhi and Bengaluru will host the TATA WPL in 2024 -

The TATA Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 schedule was released on Wednesday by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The greatest women's T20 league's eagerly anticipated second season will take place in Bengaluru and Delhi from February 23 to March 17, 2024. 20 league matches and two elimination matches will make up the thrilling T20 tournament featuring five strong sides, offering intense competition amid outstanding play.

There will only be one match per day in this WPL season, and all games will start at 7:30 PM IST. 9 more league games and the two playoff games will be played in Delhi after the first 11 matches, which will be staged in Bengaluru.

MI vs DC -

The league's main event will feature a match between the reigning champion Mumbai Indians and the first-season runners-up, Delhi Capitals. When Royal Challengers Bangalore takes on UP Warriorz on February 24 at their home stadium, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, it will double the enthusiasm of the cricket fans. Gujarat Giants will play against the Mumbai Indians in the opening match of their 2024 WPL season.

The Delhi Capitals, the local team, will take on the Mumbai Indians in their opening match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on March 5th, marking the beginning of the Delhi leg of the league. Delhi, like Bengaluru, will host matches daily until the final league game on March 13. The team that tops the points table at the end of the league stage advances directly to the championship game.

The Eliminator, between the second- and third-placed teams on the table against one another in what looks to be an exciting match, takes place on Friday, March 15. The Eliminator winner advances to the final, where on Sunday, March 17, they will square off against the team with the highest ranking in an ultimate duel for the coveted trophy.
