The ICC Champions Trophy is set to begin on February 19th and run till March 9, after a lot of obstacles the tournament is finally set to get a go. The showpiece event often termed the 'Mini World Cup' has had its own hype and charm among cricket fans.

The tournament was first held in Bangladesh while the second edition of the competition was held in Kenya. The South African team won their first-ever ICC tournament in 1998 beating the West Indies, while the Kiwis beat the Indians in Kenya in 2000 winning their first ICC event too.
