The Indian Premier League (IPL) is renowned for its intense cricket matches and tactical captaincy. But this season, the Mumbai Indians (MI) are in the spotlight not because of their performances, but because of doubts about the strategies used by skipper Hardik Pandya and bowling leader Jasprit Bumrah.
SRH embarked on yet another milestone, outpacing the highest-ever team total at the IPL. The skipper Pat Cummins with his boys chalked up an impressive 277/3 to shit the previous record of 263-5, made by RCB, in 2013. As for MI 17-year-old, Kwena Maphaka, who is a South African pacer, he gave away 66 runs in four overs.
Where is Jasprit Bumrah?? Game nearly done and your best bowler has only bowled ONE over! #SRHvMI

Moody, the previous SRH coach, vented his ire at Hardik for overlooking Bumrah who is the team's best bowler.
"What about Jasprit Bumrah?? The game is nearly over and your best bowler has played only a single over!"
Jasprit Bumrah led the MI bowling lineup, conceding only 36 runs in the four overs of his spell and taking one wicket. Nevertheless, he delivered only 1 over in the first 6. He was not used in the attack until the 13th over of the match, but by then, SRH was already on 173.
One of the purposes of powerplay cricket is your wickets and he is your best wicket-taker and he always will be your best wicket-taker and for he to be severed of that opportunity and Mumbai to be severed of that opportunity to try to stem the flow of this onslaught. "Doesn't seem fair" said Moody on ESPNcricinfo .
