At the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, March 31, during the match against Chennai, Delhi's captain Rishabh Pant was fined Rs 12 lakh for his slow over rate. Pant was the second captain to get a fine for sluggish over rate, following Shubman Gill of Gujarat.

It's interesting to note that Gill was also punished at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai during a game against CSK. Pant should be cautious because two further penalties will result in a one-match suspension. Pant's team was not penalized because it was his first offense.
