Legendary player for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Dinesh Karthik, lost his final Indian Premier League (IPL) game on Wednesday against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Eliminator match. Following the end of the game in Ahmedabad, Karthik who had already made it clear that this IPL would be his last was given a guard of honour by his colleagues.
Despite having made his T20 league debut sixteen years ago, Karthik is still among the best finishers in this particular sport's format.
As RCB players made their way around the stadium expressing gratitude to the supporters, Karthik removed his gloves and addressed the crowd.

Virat Kohli soon gave Karthik an embrace as he appeared to be having difficulty controlling his emotions, creating a moment the RCB supporters will never forget.
He debuted with the Delhi Daredevils (now the Delhi Capitals) in the 2008 inaugural season. After moving to Punjab in 2011, he then played for the RCB, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions, and Kolkata Knight Riders.
