Tilak Varma has been roped in by Hampshire County Cricket Club. The lefty batter has got a 2-month contract with the Southampton-based county. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) & the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) have granted him the 'No Objection Certificate'.

Tilak Varma @TilakV9 to play for Hampshire in the ongoing English County season.
According to the reports, Tilak Varma will be playing for the County from June 18 to August 2, in which he will feature in at least four four-day games. His participation in the white-ball games for Hampshire is still not clear.
"The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is pleased to inform that one of our players, Tilak Varma, has been roped in by Hampshire County for a county stint. we wish Tilak Varma all the very best," the HCA said in a statement.
In 18 first-class games, Varma has 1204 runs at an average of over 50 with five centuries and four half-centuries. He is, of course, a white-ball specialist, having represented India in four ODIs and 25 T20Is with a particularly healthy average of close to 50 (49.93) in T20Is (749 runs in 24 innings) and a strike rate of 155.
Tilak Varma was involved in the recently concluded IPL, where he played 16 matches for the Mumbai Indians, including an Eliminator & the Qualifier. Tilak scored 343 runs in those 16 games at an average of 31.18. His team Mumbai Indians crashed out of the season in the second Qualifier.
