After dismissing England captain Ben Stokes, India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja became just the fifth player to reach 200 Test wickets on Indian soil. At Rajkot's Niranjan Shah Stadium, India takes on England in the third Test of their five-match series.
After lunch on Day 3, Jadeja sent Stokes back to the pavilion, giving India a huge breakthrough. Playing on his home ground of Rajkot, Jadeja forced Stokes to attempt a huge shot that the England captain misjudged, allowing Jasprit Bumrah to make an easy catch at long-on.
With this wicket, Jadeja completed 200 Test wickets in India, following in the footsteps of Anil Kumble (350), Ravichandran Ashwin (347), Harbhajan Singh (265) and Kapil Dev (219).

Day 3 saw India apply pressure on England after Stokes was removed. Jadeja then bowled Tom Hartley to claim number 201 in India. In 70 Test matches, Jadeja has taken 282 wickets for India and scored 3,055 runs.
The top-ranked all-rounder in Test cricket, Jadeja, has been playing at his best in Rajkot. In the first innings, the 35-year-old helped India post 445 by scoring his fourth century in a Test match. With two sixes and nine boundaries smashed, he scored 112 runs off 125 deliveries.
With India suffering at 33 for 3 in 8.5 overs, Jadeja walked into the bat. The seasoned all-round player was elevated to the number five place, surpassing players like Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan. Then Jadeja and skipper Rohit Sharma took the team out from falling apart and made a partnership of 204 runs
