However, the costs are significantly higher on websites like StubHub and SeatGeek. The $400 tickets may be purchased on resale sites for $40,000 (about Rs 33 Lakh), and the price increases to $50,000 (around Rs 41 Lakh) when platform fees are included.
The average price of a Super Bowl 58 ticket on the secondary market was $9000, according to a study by USA Today, while courtside seats for the NBA Finals could fetch up to $24,000.
The most expensive ticket for the India vs. Pakistan match in the T20 World Cup 2024 was posted for $175,000 (about Rs 1.4 crore) on the website SeatGeek, demonstrating how prices have skyrocketed. When platform fees and other levies are included, the total rises to almost Rs 1.86 crore.
