Indian head coach Igor Stimac announced 26 players in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026 preliminary joint round 2 Qualifying Rounds.

Indian senior Men's team head coach Igor Stimac announced the 26 probable for the Bhubaneshwar camp to prepare for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 2 matches against Kuwait and Qatar. The 2nd list of problems will be announced in due course. The Indian Team is scheduled to begin their preparation in Odisha on May 10. The Indian juggernaut will face Kuwait in Kolkata on June 6 before traveling to Doha to face Qatar on June 11 to round off their two group A games.

India is on 2nd postion

India is currently placed in the 2nd position with four points from four games. The top two sides qualify for the round 3 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and confirm their place in the AFC Asian Cup slated to be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027.

Goalkeepers: Amrinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.

Defenders: Amey Ganesh Ranawade, Jay Gupta, Lalchungnunga, Muhammad Hammad, Narender, Nikhil Poojary, Roshan Singh Naorem.
