Mohammed Shami, a pacer for Team India, is going to London to see a specialist for an ankle ailment. Shami is out of action since his outstanding bowling display during the ODI World Cup in November of last year.
For the two-match Test series against South Africa, Mohammed Shami was added to the Indian Test team, however, he was later ruled out due to fitness issues. In addition, the 33-year-old has been selected for India's side for the country's first two Test matches of the forthcoming five-match series against England.
Mohammed Shami is anticipated to travel to London shortly, accompanied by Nitin Patel, head of sports science at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), according to a report published on Cricbuzz. The report further stated that while Shami and Patel took a decision together at the NCA in Bengaluru to address a pacer's injury, they decided to seek the advice of an expert.

Following a knee ligament injury in August 2023, Prithvi Shaw has not been able to play. Shaw will reportedly require an additional month to resume playing competitive cricket. That will depend, though, on how the Mumbai cricket player handles the demanding rehabilitation procedure, which the NCA will be watching.
Shaw will be put through a more rigorous workload over the next three weeks to assess if his knee can endure the increased demands

Shaw is receiving treatment at Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy (NCA) right now. Before he becomes available to play competitive cricket, the 24-year-old must play a few games.
If all goes well with his rehabilitation, Prithvi Shaw may be able to play for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy knockouts, but his ultimate goal is to return to competitive cricket in the IPL in 2024.
