The Gujarat Titans is a professional franchise cricket team from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India that competes in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team was established in 2021 and is owned by CVC Capital Partners. Shubman Gill currently captains the team, while Ashish Nehra coaches it. The Gujarat Titans won their first IPL title in 2022, led by skipper Hardik Pandya.
The Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad, seats 132,000 people and serves as the team's home pitch. The Gujarat Titans stunned many with their outstanding performances in their maiden season, winning 10 out of 14 group matches and ultimately claiming the championship by defeating the Rajasthan Royals in the final.
