Jason Holder Ruled out of World Cup

Windies all-rounder Jason Holder has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to injury.

Early Injury Blow to West Indies

Jason Holder who is the vital cog in the West Indies line-up is ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup. Left-arm seam Bowler Obed McCoy has replaced him in the Squad.

Jason Holder was playing for an English County named Worcester, it has been reported that while playing in the county championship game Holder got injured.

The nature of the injury is still under wraps as the West Indies Cricket Board has not disclosed many details about the same.

Losing Jason Holder at this point is a big blow for us as he is an experienced player for us on and off the field, We hope that he is fully fit again and plays for West Indies soon.
Losing Jason is not ideal, but we believe in Obed McCoy, and his abilities help West Indies in the World Cup, this will give him a new opportunity to showcase his skills on International change, and we believe he will bring some sort of freshness to the squad.

Cricket West Indies has released a pool of 5 players, from where the the players will be drafted in case of any concerns, Two Time champions West Indies will open their campaign against Papua New Guinea in Guyana on June 2.
