Leicester City clinched their return to the Premier League on Friday, as their rivals, Leeds United, suffered a crushing 4-0 loss to Queens Park Rangers. The draw means Leicester are the leaders of the Championship with 94 points with two games to play while Leeds are on 90 but something they have to settle for in the upcoming single match.

Ipswich Town in third position will nip at the heals of Leeds to the second automatic promotion place with their current 89 points earned and three matches still left to play. "The control is evaporating from our hands now (automatic promotion), though we must be true," said Leeds' Daniel Farke to BBC.

It is not the end of the story if Ipswich wins the next two matches and after that, they will get a chance to (play against) Southampton. But if they (Ipswich) cannot win them then they will have a lot to play for(against Southampton) on the season's final day.

"It was my best night. It took a huge amount of toil to get this performance scale," stated Cifuentes.

"We have shown all the time in the past that we are able to go through adversity mentally strong." The entire club felt we had stepped in the greatest challenge, but fortunately, we were one united team.

Having finished third from the bottom in the Premier League the previous season, Enzo Maresca's Foxes were promoted on their first attempt.

They play their last two games at home against Blackburn on May 4 to wrap out the season, starting with a trip to Preston on Monday. If Ipswich defeats Coventry in their upcoming game on Tuesday or Hull on Saturday, Leeds will be outside the top two.

Leeds will have to make the playoffs if Ipswich wins both; they will be promoted.

Farke went on to say, "Congratulations to Leicester and QPR."
