Australian Wicket Keeper batter Matthew Wade has been reprimanded with a demerit point after an argument with the on-field umpire Nitin Menon in their T20 World Cup game against England at Bridgetown, Barbados.
This Incident took place in the 18th over (17.3) of the Australian Batting innings. ICC leveled 1 charge on Wade as he breached the ICC code of conduct.
Wade was found to be breaching Article 2.8 of the ICC Code of Conduct for players and player support personnel this article relates to 'showing dissent at an umpiring decision'.

On-field umpires Nitin Menon and Joel Wilson along with third Umpire Asif Yaqoob and fourth umpire Jayraman Madangopal leveled the charges against Matthew Wade, who admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Andy Pycroft of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, so there was no need for a formal hearing.
England won the toss and opted to field against Australia, the kangaroos started aggressively smashing 70 runs in the powerplay, credits to David Warner and Travis Head. Australia breached the 200-run mark and became the first team to do so in this edition of the T20 World Cup. England in reply started briskly but soon ran out of gas as they got restricted to 165/7 in their chase of 201.
