I wanted to announce to you all that it's my last year at Paris Saint-Germain. I will not extend my contract and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks.

A Farewell After Seven Successful Seasons

The 25-year-old forward's decision doesn't come as a surprise. Mbappe has long been linked with a move away from the French capital, with Real Madrid being the heavily favored destination. PSG reportedly rejected a hefty bid from Real Madrid for Mbappe in 2021, but with his contract expiring at the end of the season, the French forward will be moving on a free transfer.

Mbappe spent seven successful seasons at PSG, establishing himself as one of the world's best players. He helped the club win numerous trophies, including multiple Ligue 1 titles. In his message, Mbappe expressed gratitude to the fans, teammates, and staff for their support during his time at the club.

There are some people I want to thank above all, these are the fans. From the very beginning, you've always given me a lot of love, and I've always tried to give it back on the pitch.

Looking Ahead: A Dream Move to Real Madrid?

While Mbappe didn't explicitly mention his next club, all signs point towards a dream move to Real Madrid. The Spanish giants have long admired the French prodigy, and his arrival would be a major coup for the club.

Mbappe's departure marks the end of an era for PSG. The club will have to find a way to replace his goals and creativity on the pitch. But for Mbappe, a new and exciting chapter awaits, likely in the white jersey of Real Madrid.
