MS Dhoni has always had one of the most loyal and passionate fan bases. Even though MSD has retired from international cricket, he continues to play for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which his supporters all around the world enjoy and admire. While age is no barrier, when the IPL season begins, fans rush to see their 'Thala' in action. One such amazing fan lives in Chennai, a city famed for its unwavering support for CSK and Dhoni.

S Ramdas, a 103-year-old fan, has been following the IPL club for years and still has time to watch matches. The 103-year-old is a devoted follower of the sport, and his enthusiasm for CSK remains strong today.

In a video posted by CSK, Ramdas not only shows off his affection for the Chennai Super Kings but also expresses his desire to meet MS Dhoni someday, a dream shared by many fans across generations.

I am 103 years old, but I am not old. I am a senior youth. I like cricket, I watch cricket,” he said further explaining he is though scared of playing cricket but loves to watch it. Further talking about Dhoni, Ramdas shared that he wants to watch a CSK match in Chepauk and meet Dhoni. “Whenever he has time, and whenever he calls, take me,”

In the video, Ramdas, who will be 104 this year, also discussed the fast-paced nature of T20 cricket. Ramdas, a former member of the British Army, is a dedicated follower of the IPL team and enjoys wearing the yellow shirt and watching games on television.

CSK's current situation

The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Chennai Super Kings, who are currently fifth on the points table, were defeated in their most recent encounter against the Lucknow Super Giants. While no visitor team had defeated CSK in Chepauk in the previous three games this season, Lucknow won because of LSG's outstanding effort, which included Marcus Stoinis' century.
