Mitchell Starc, an Australian bowler, became the fifth player in Test cricket history to reach 350 wickets. At the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane, during the Day and Night Test match against the West Indies, Starc accomplished this milestone.
The milestone was reached by the left-arm quick in two wickets, ahead of the second Test match. Starc defeated Tagernarine Chanderpaul in the 20th over, removing him at 21. Starc got rid of youthful hitter Alick Athanze in the 22nd over, making it his 350th wicket in a Test match. To disturb the West Indies batting order, Starc removed Justin Greaves at six in the twenty-sixth over.
On the top list, Shane Warne (708 wickets), Glenn McGrath (563), Nathan Lyon (512 wickets), and Dennis Lille (355 wickets) are all ahead of Starc. Starc achieved the distinction of being the third left-arm bowler to reach 350 Test wickets. The 32-year-old is just behind 355 scalps from Sri Lankan veteran Chaminda Vaas and 414 wickets from Pakistan's renowned pacer Wasim Akram. The seasoned bowler, who is in his 87th Test match, has amassed an incredible 14 five-wicket scores and two match hauls of ten wickets.

In seven Test matches against the West Indies, Starc has already claimed 27 wickets. After winning the toss, the West Indies chose to bat first, but the quicks' use of the swinging pink ball prevented them from taking advantage of the favorable batting conditions. At four, Josh Hazlewood got rid of West Indies's captain Craig Brathwaite, drawing the first blood. Kirk McKenzie was removed by Australian captain Pat Cummins, and the visitors continued to lose wickets frequently as a result of their bad shot selection. Australia's score in the first session was 5/64.
After crushing the West Indies in the first Test at Adelaide, the hosts would try to sweep the series with a victory in the second Test. Australia already has an amazing record in the Tests.
