Virat Kohli had an amazing IPL season in 2016. In 16 games, he amassed 973 runs at an average of 81.08 and a striking average of 152.03. This is the most runs that a player has ever scored in an IPL season. Additionally, with four hundred in a single IPL season, Kohli holds the record. He scored seven fifty as well. That season, Kohli scored 113 against Kings XI Punjab, 109* against Gujarat Lions, and 108* against Rising Pune Super Giants among his greatest innings. He was the mainstay of RCB's run to the championship game and took home the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs during the competition.

While in peak form, Buttler amassed four hundreds, matching Kohli's season record. With performances like 116 against the Delhi Capitals, 103 against KKR, and 89* against the Royals, Buttler wrecked bowling attacks. As the tournament's top run scorer, he received the Orange Cap. Buttler was a prominent player in the IPL because of his talent, cunning, and accurate hitting.

David Warner – 848 Runs In IPL 2016
