Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was struck in the head during a Comilla Victorians practice at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium and was then sent to a Chattogram hospital.
Mustafizur was struck by a ball on the left side of his head, causing him to collapse instantly. While Comilla Victorians player - Mustafizur Rahman was preparing for their upcoming BPL match against Sylhet Strikers on Monday, the event happened early on Sunday.
According to eyewitness accounts, Mustafizur was struck by the ball when he was almost at his bowling mark. Rushing to his side were teammates and coaching staff, who transported him to the ground ambulance.

During practice a ball hit directly at the left parietal area (head) of MustafizurRahmann," Zahidul Islam, the team physio, said. "There was an open wounding in his parietal area and we worked with a compression bandage to stop bleeding and immediately shifted him to Imperial Hospital. Comilla's media manager Sohanuzzaman Khan told ESPN Cricinfo that Mustafizur was in good spirits. "When we were prepping him for the ride to the hospital, he seemed to be acting normally," he said
Comilla is at No. 2 in the BPL points table with seven wins in nine games.
