Bangladeshi left-arm seamer Mustafizur Rahman has been granted NOC (No Objection Certificate) by the Bangladesh Cricket Board to participate in IPL 2025 for the Delhi Capitals. However, his stay in India will be limited till the league stages as he's been granted an NOC from 18th-24th May.

The Bangladesh team is currently in Sharjah for the 2-match T20I series against UAE, which is set to run from May 17th-19th. Mustafizur will be available for the Bangladesh team in the first T20I before joining the Delhi Capitals in the IPL. The Bangladesh team is set to play a 5-match T20I series against Pakistan after the UAE series from May 25, the pacer is expected to join the team for that series.

BCB Grants NOC To Mustafizur

"As per the decision taken by the BCB Cricket Operations, the BCB has granted the NOC to pacer Mustafizur Rahman for his participation in the ongoing IPL in India. The pacer has been granted the NOC from 18th to 24th May." The BCB stated in a statement. This must be noted that Mustafizur will be available for the team's 1st match against UAE on May 17th at Sharjah".

Mustafizur was picked by DC as a replacement for Jake Fraser-McGurk but a confusion arose as BCB insisted they were not informed about his participation. Now it is confirmed that Mustafizur will join the DC squad on 18th May after playing the opening T20I against UAE on May 17th.

DC remains in the hunt for a spot in the IPL 2025 playoffs when the season resumes on May 17. They're currently fifth with 13 points from 11 fixtures, only a point behind fourth-placed MI, who have played one more game.

DC's three remaining fixtures are against fellow top-four aspirants in GT (May 18), MI (May 21), and PBKS (May 24). But if DC earn a spot in the playoffs, Mustafizur will not be available for the business end as he is expected to be part of the Bangladesh squad to take on Pakistan.
