From March 25 to April 8, Pakistan's cricket players will participate in a 10-day training camp with their army. The announcement was made in Islamabad on Tuesday, March 5, by Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The camp is scheduled to start for one week following the conclusion of the current Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Notably, Naqvi is dissatisfied with players' lack of fitness and incapacity to hit deep-sixes. Regarding the camp, it was set up at Kakul during Pakistan's hectic cricket season in preparation for the World Cup.
I don't think one of you hit a six that went into the stands when I was watching the matches in Lahore. I used to assume that a foreign player must have hit that six every time one like that was hit. I've requested that the board devise a strategy to improve each player's level of fitness. For that, you'll need to put in the necessary work.
We have New Zealand coming up, then Ireland, England, and the T20 World Cup. I wondered, 'When will we train?' but there was no time. However, we've found a window, where we've organized a camp in Kakul (military academy) from March 25 to April 8. The Pakistan Army will be involved in your training, and hopefully, they'll help you out.

However, Pakistani players may not be able to rest during this camp because they have been playing non-stop cricket since the Australian tour. They first traveled to New Zealand for a five-match T20I series before returning to their respective teams for the PSL. Following the training camp, which would have been their rest period, Pakistan will host New Zealand before facing Ireland and England before the T20 World Cup in June. It remains to be seen whether the players would open up about their tight schedules, as the intensive training camp will undoubtedly not allow them to rest adequately.
