Phil Foden announces that Manchester City will be forever marked in the history book of English football if they win the Premier League title this Sunday for the fourth time in a row. Manchester City, who are managed by Pep Guardiola, have taken an attractive lead towards a sixth English crown in seven seasons going into the last lap of fixtures on Sunday.
City, two points above second placed Arsenal, will only need to beat West Ham United at home to beat Everton at Goodison Park to claim the title again if Manchester emerge victorious away from home. The title four will go down in history as a landmark achievement for the English highest league if City will manage to clinch it.
The success that we have achieved even surpasses the most accomplished teams of the heydays of the 1970s and 1980s Liverpool and the dynastic Manchester United under Alex Ferguson or the kings of Arsenal cannot boast of that level of accomplishment.
Forward Foden of England wallets that all might not be repeated if City triumphs to became the hand owner of trophy.
The Football Writers' Association player of the year, who missed Thursday night's ceremony in London to focus on City's preparations, said: "It's socialism and it surely will never happen in my life anymore."
"It's something the team knows, the team understands and we're looking forward to trying to get it done."
On May 25, they play Manchester United at Wembley in the FA Cup final before Foden concentrates on the European Championship in Germany.
"If we can win these next two finals, then go into the tournament (Euro 2024) full of confidence," Foden said.
"We'll give everything to try and achieve success and try and do the Premier League four times which has never been done before. It would mean a lot to us.
"I'm delighted with how I'm performing and now it's one last push on Sunday, one more game to go to try and win the league."
