Rain had the final say in the 44th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Eden Gardens between the Kolkata Knight Riders & Punjab Kings. Earlier in the day, the Punjab Kings won the toss & elected to bat first, scoring a brilliant 201-4 in their allotted 20 overs, courtesy half tons from the opening duo of Prabhsimran Singh (83) & Priyansh Arya (69). The rain interrupted the game in the second innings of the game when KKR were batting after the end of the 1st over with the scorecard reading KKR 7/0 (1 over). This ensured that both teams had to share points.
