"Yeah, the timing of this decision came in as a surprise to me, he's been a gun player around the global cricket. Not many finger spinners have that longevity of playing the game. He'll be going down as one of the greats of the game, he's been a fierce competitor, and we've had great contests against him here in Australia & in India as well, just massive respect from our side on the career he's had"
