Snubbed Riyan Parag Makes Shocking World Cup Confession: "Don't Want to Watch"

Neha . June 3, 2024

The American vs Canadian match marked the start of the month-long T20 World Cup 2024. However, the Indian cricket team will have to wait a few more days to start the event as their opening match against Ireland is set for June 5.

As Indian supporters hope for their team, all-arounder Riyan Parag of the Rajasthan Royals said that he may not even watch the T20 World Cup this year.

In an honest interview, Riyan Parag stated that if he had been playing in the T20 World Cup, he would have been concerned about it. He hasn't shown much interest this year.

"To be very honest, I don't really want to watch the World Cup, therefore my prediction on the top four teams will be prejudiced. All I have to do is wait and see who comes out on top, and I'll be content. "I'll consider finishing in the top four and everything when I play in the World Cup," Parag stated in a conversation with The Bharat Army.

Parag is a fascinating figure who has frequently been the target of trolling after making comments in interviews and on social media. He let his bat do most of the talking in this year's Indian Premier League, and the outcomes were spectacular. The Assam cricket player recently talked openly about his aspirations to play for Team India, stating that eventually the selectors would have to accept him.
