At the end of the IPL 2024 encounter between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings played at the PCA Stadium in Mullanpur, Rohit Sharma was appointed as the captain in the last over. Even though Mumbai looked like they would have that 192/7 for Punjab to chase, the performances by 2 brave young batters Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma made the game interesting yet exciting for others.

The Indian (captain) wasn't comfortable with the fielding placements. He dashed up to Hardik and Madhwal. The fast bowler (who has time and again sung praises of Rohit's leadership), started to ask the former skipper for his suggestions as soon they met.

Here's the Viral Video:

Rabada was run out trying to steal a double, but the conversation paid off as the win was secured on the very first ball. After his removal, PBKS lost the match by 9 runs after being all out for 183 runs.

"The game was rather tight. Significantly closer than we anticipated. Naturally, you want to react when the ball moves in a certain way. The ball swings two overs in this configuration. Test cricket is what I play when I want to bowl more. That satisfies my needs. Due to time constraints and impact player regulations, bowlers may find this format to be a little challenging. The batting order gets more deeper. But you have no control over that. Whenever I can, I do communicate the message to the bowlers. During the post-match presentation ceremony, he stated, "But you also don't want to deliver too many messages in the heat of the moment."
