Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad has penned a deal with Yorkshire County. Gaikwad will join the squad ahead of Yorkshire's clash against Surrey next month & will remain with the squad till the end, also playing in the Royal One Day Cup.
Gaikwad is currently in England as a part of the India A squad, the Maharashtra batter didn't get to play in both the practice games against the England Lions. Ruturaj has been out of action for two months after he was ruled out of IPL 2025 due to an elbow fracture.

Gaikwad has donned the India colors 29 times across formats (ODI & T20I). he has 7 centuries in first-class cricket & 16 in List A. Gaikwad also leads the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
