Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India will participate in the T20 World Cup 2024, which will be held in the Caribbean and the USA, BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced on Wednesday at a Rajkot event. In the shortest format, India's full-time captain has been Hardik Pandya; but, following their heartbreaking defeat against Australia in the 2023 World Cup final, there are rumours that veteran batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit may return for the T20 championship in June and Rohit will lead the team.
