The South African Cricket Team has recalled Senuran Muthusamy into the Test squad for the all-important 2-match test series against Bangladesh.
Muthusamy is named alongside the deadly spin duo of Keshav Maharaj & Dane Piedt, Muthusamy last featured in a test for South Africa last year against West Indies in February 2023.
Kagiso Rabada will lead the pace attack of the proteas along with Nandre Burger, Dane Paterson & Wiaan Mulder. Meanwhile, Lungi Ngidi & Migael Pretorious have been axed from the squad.

South Africa's head coach Shukri Conrad expressed his happiness on the squad that has been picked and also about the tour going ahead despite the political situation prevailing in Bangladesh.
"First of all I would like to congratulate both the Cricket boards for taking this tour ahead, Bangladesh is not an easy opposition especially while playing at home, we know they'll come hard at us, we've also picked the best possible squad that can challenge Bangladesh". Conrad Quipped

The Tour begins on October 21 in Dhaka while the second & final test will be played at Chattogram from November 2.
