Indian All-Rounder Shardul Thakur has undergone a successful foot surgery on his right leg, the all-rounder confirmed the same on his social media handle.
Shardul is understood to have gone to London for his treatment, the CSK all-rounder who played in the IPL taking painkillers after almost every game.

Thakur's surgery was done by the same physician, who treated Mohammad Shami for the very same injury, Shardul being a centrally contracted player, all the expenses were taken care of by BCCI.
The seamer is not a part of the current T20 World Cup squad, With domestic Cricket set to begin in the country in 3 months, those tournaments are being touted as the road for his comeback to Cricket.
Shardul was last seen in India in the tour of South Africa in the first test at Centurion last year, Thakur had a crucial Partnership with KL Rahul, but that was not enough for India to win the test match.
His recovery time from this surgery is expected to be around eight weeks.
