Bangladesh's star batter Soumya Sarkar is hopeful that the Bangladeshi bowlers will up their game in the T20I format against West Indies after they failed miserably in the ODI series that saw the tourists getting whitewashed 3-0. The Bangladeshi team is set to play a 3-match T20I series against the West Indies from December 15 at St. Kitts.

In the first ODI, Bangladesh set a target of 294, but the bowlers could not defend it, leading to a five-wicket loss with 14 balls still left to be played. In the second game, the bowlers were not targeted as the Bangladeshi batting group posted a below-average total of 227. The third ODI became the talk of the town when Bangladesh failed to defend a good total of 321 as the hosts West Indies chased down the target with 4 wickets to spare & 25 balls remaining.

However, Soumya Sarkar remains confident of the bowling unit's capabilities in T20Is.
