The Sri Lankan Cricket team has announced their ODI & T20I squad for the white-ball series against New Zealand. Charith Asalanka has been retained to lead the side, while former captain Dasun Shanaka has been ignored once again.
Sri Lanka's ace fast bowler Dushamantha Chameera is also not there in the squad list after he was ruled out of the series against India due to bronchitis & respiratory issues.
Left-handed keeper-batter Kusal Janith Perera has also made a comeback into the ODI side after a brilliant 55 not out in the last ODI against West Indies. Perera was discarded from the ODI setup of the 2023 ODI World Cup in India last year.
Mohamed Shiraz, who played against India in the ODI series has also been recalled into the side after missing out in the series against West Indies.

The T20I squad for the New Zealand series is the same that played against the West Indies where the hosts beat the West Indies by a 2-1 margin. The T20I series kicks off New Zealand's white-ball tour of Sri Lanka. Dambulla will host the T20I matches, which will be played on November 9 and 10, as well as the first ODI on November 13. The last two ODIs will be played in Pallekele on November 17 and 19.
