The Sunrisers Hyderabad are one of the few teams setting the 17th edition of the IPL on fire. The explosive batting from heads within the team has seen them create history in the IPL books after managing the most sixes in the league . The incredible mark was achieved at the game the Hyderabad-based franchise played on April 26th, 2024, against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Although the 100 sixes were not enough to guide the Sunrisers my justice brothers to the victory they wanted to achieve, they gained it in eight matches . Similarly, the incredible sixes maximum speaks of the team batting extremely aggressively and with boundaries being their number one language. Furthermore, the record is impressive as the team only missed the title in the same capacity with three sixes in the year 2022 at just 97.

SRH have already shown that they are capable of putting on a batting spectacular in this season of IPL. For their team to succeed, the openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head have provided explosive starts and created a solid base for big totals. Their high-intensity method has not only kept fans entertained yet also put SRH in a good position on the IPL points board.

The season remains early, yet SRH’s record-breaking six-hitting ability has already become a strong subject. Only time will reveal if the group can continue this high-level performance and be a contender for the IPL title. SRH’s powerful batting lineup ensures one thing: watch out, because there will be fireworks in games yet to be played.

The most sixes in any T20 match were struck in Hyderabad, when Sunrisers and Mumbai combined for 18 and 20 of them. The previous record was 37 sixes in two different games: the 2019 CPL match between St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Jamaica Tallawahs, and an Afghanistan Premier League game between Balkh Legends and Kabul Zwanan in Sharjah in 2018.

The Sunrisers' highest-ever IPL total, 277 for 3, was against Mumbai. When they defeated Pune Warriors in 2013, they shattered the record established by Royal Challengers Bangalore with 263 for 5.
