Given the fact that Bumrah has recovered flawlessly from a career-threatening back injury over the past 12 months, Bumrah is considered one of the main members of the squad who can help India win the T20 World Cup title for the second time.

Bumrah missed international games for almost a year he was ruled out after playing a T20 game against Australia at home in Nagpur in August. He returned to competitive Cricket against Ireland in a T20I series in August just before the ODI World Cup in India.

During the ODI World Cup too Bumrah played a huge role for the team in their journey to the final, Bumrah claimed 20 Wickets in the tournament with an Economy of just 4.

Jasprit Bumrah to ICC

"From the time I have returned to Cricket I plan to enjoy the game as much as possible, Bumrah Added''
This is because some things will go my some things won't favor me.
"All these things are a part of my plan, I just realized that I play this sport because I love this sport.
I will focus on the process rather than the result. Because it reduces your pressure in the end and you start loving the sport.
When you focus on things you can control, rather than those which you can't

Bumrah has 74 wickets which makes him the third-highest wicket taker among Indian wicket takers.

A large portion of his success in the format may be ascribed to his precision yorker, which can quickly go past the batter's defense.

Bumrah recounted how he invented the yorker while playing tennis-ball cricket as a child to explain how he came upon this wicket-taking option.

I played a lot of tennis ball and rubber Cricket with my buddies when I was growing up, during my summer camps. or whenever you get some time.
When I was a kid I used to replicate those things as I was a fan of fast bowling, I grew up watching fast bowling on Television. I was fascinated by it
"So I tried to copy that"

Bumrah quipped that he has nearly perfected his technique through constant pace

"I don't know if playing tennis ball cricket is a secret of me bowling yorkers," Bumrah said.

But surely there is a repetition to it I bowl that ball in the match I still practice it because to hone your skill you need constant Practice, I'll say its a mixture of both. Bumrah Quipped.

Bumrah Who made his debut in the 2016 T20 World Cup is India's most experienced bowler in terms of seamers at the moment.

With Siraj and Arshdeep there Bumrah is leading the pace attack, but he also has the presence of Hardik Pandya who is an experienced Pace All-Rounder.

Despite Bumrah being an experienced cog in the setup now he allows youngsters Like Arshdeep Singh to have their own space

" One must not over teach that's my mantra, because whenever you are trying to help the youngsters you must allow them to have their questions, that's what I learned

Bumrah explained about his strategy by saying that those are an integral part of the game.

It is not like I have always been lucky that whenever I bowl a ball it lands in the perfect area, I have had to work on certain skills what I try to do is pass certain information

I don't try to overburden them I just allow them to do their things, as its an important part of the sport.
You have to find your ways and solutions.

In the Men's T20 World Cup 2024, India are in Group A with Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, and the United States.
