Currently sitting at the top of Laliga, Real Madrid are 7 points clear of 2nd place Girona. Real Madrid has been exceptional this season, especially in dealing with injuries. Eder Militao, Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, and Vinicius Junior (for a prolonged period) were some big names who were missing for most seasons. Carlo Ancelotti’s man management and brilliant relationship with the players saw some big sacrifices, Dani Carvajal and Tchoumeni playing center back, Cammavinga playing as left back and Andrey Lunin stepping up big time for the missing Courtois, along with the flair and panache of Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Madrid phased out well. Reports suggest all the injured professionals will be back to host Manchester City at Bernabeu.
Intensely coming back to City ways, Manchester City is returning to what we know them best for, initially struggling in the premier are now hounding down Liverpool and Arsenal at the top. Star boy Erling Haaland has been usually in an on-and-off form lately, but Kevin De Bruyne’s resurrection back to the squad after a long injury has spawned life back to this city squad. Rodri, Bernado being amazingly consistent throughout the season has been a big boon for Pep and the club. Foden has been one of the best players at City this season having 18 goal contributions in 28 games of Premier League.
Both Carlo and Pep are expecting the better of each other in what is supposed to be the biggest match of club football this year.
