Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCBW) secured the silverware that they have been yearning for, lifting the Women’s Premier League (WPL) title in 2024 There is no trophy of IPL for men's team yet. But women's team have already reached to the power in the second season of Women's Premier League.

while Smriti Mandhana side won in the finale, beating the Delhi Capitals on Sunday to take the title, V J Mallya, the ex-owner of the franchise, took to the social media to congratulate the champion.

"The RCB Women's Team deserves the utmost congratulations for winning the WPL. If the RCB Men's Team finally prevailed in the IPL, it would be an incredible double. Wishing you luck."

" This year has brought us a great deal of new learnings as a player, as the captain, as a team and also for the management team who went through so much last year and a huge big thumbs-up in support.” Mandhana said at the post- match presentation.

On winning the title, he said “ I think the feeling still escapes me; it may happen later on.” Impossible to utter more than a few sentences. All i want to do is feel honored of the team.
