Regarding the match, Saurabh Netravalkar led the USA team to victory over one of the tournament's favorites, Pakistan, and Monank Patel led the squad to make history at Grand Prairie Stadium with a fast assault.

Netravalkar's social media following took up after just one game, as fans began comparing him to Patiala House, the role played by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. Throughout his four-over stint in the current T20 World Cup, 32-year-old left-arm quick Netravalkar plagued Pakistan's batsmen with his controlled line and length.

In his youth, Netravalkar played in the World Cup for the India U-19 squad. He crushed the hopes of Pakistani supporters, who were hoping for a successful start before their crucial match against arch-rival India, fourteen years later.
