In the Indian Premier League (IPL), the first six overs of an innings are referred to as the "powerplay," and they are extremely important in determining the overall mood of the game. A poor start to the game might cause you to fall behind, but a good start can ensure a decent total. Some teams have given up a lot of wickets in the powerplay zone. Let's also take a look at those teams that have lost most wickets in the powerplay in IPL 2024 Season:

Delhi Capitals:

The Delhi Capitals (DC) had been the worst team in the game during our powerplay. In this sense, the Gujarat Titans (GT) were up against it, as they fell apart for 32/4 with just 7 overs left. That's why it wasn't an episode. 13 wickets have been taken thus far in the IPL 2024 powerplay.

Lucknow Super Giants:

After six overs, with 12 wickets lost thus far. Lucknow Super Giants is also in horrible shape about the Powerplay. Even again, they haven't lost wickets as convincingly as DC and their beginnings haven't been as solid. However, the lack of a supporting player around him has prevented KL Rahul from forming a solid combination, which has occasionally led to breakdowns.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR):

Thus far in the IPL 2024 season powerplay, both teams have conceded 11–11 wickets. The power play has presented challenges for each of them. Although RR's middle order has failed to recover from the early setbacks, RCB's over-dependence on Virat Kohli has not yielded the desired results.

Gujarat Titans (GT):

Gujrat Titans, led by Shubman Gill, are in fourth place after giving up 10 wickets during the powerplay. Not that GT has lost a lot of wickets in the powerplay, but they haven't been as successful as some may have thought. Although their cautious approach hasn't cost them wickets, it could prevent them from posting large totals.
